"Monetize your audience" is advice with no shape until someone names the mechanism. Ad revenue share, brand sponsorships, affiliate commissions, paid subscriptions, digital products, live events, and merchandise are different businesses with different margins, different time costs, and different risk if a platform changes its rules overnight.
This section breaks each of those mechanisms down separately instead of treating "monetization" as one idea. A creator selling a $40 course to 500 people is running a different operation than one splitting ad revenue with a video platform, even if the monthly total looks similar on a screenshot.
We also cover the unglamorous parts: invoicing, contracts, taxes on 1099 income, and what percentage of gross revenue actually survives as profit once platform fees and production costs are subtracted.
